At Blue Ribbon, we believe coconuts are the whole package. They give us oil, water and milk that are packed with health benefits and provide a slew of different uses. The smell is heavenly. Our love of coconuts, though, stem more from the sweeter things in life. Coconuts, we think, are best put to use in sweet treats and desserts. Our personal favorite? Coconut Macaroons.

Coconut Macaroon Recipe Possibilities
Macaroons are as versatile as they come so there are many different ways to find the perfect macaroon for you. You can add a fruity touch with orange, lemon, strawberry, you name it. For fun with the little ones (or just for you), add a few drops of food coloring in separated batches of the dough to turn your cookie platter into the rainbow.
If you are feeling especially brash, either add a chunk of chocolate before baking or dip the bottoms in melted chocolate after they are done and cooled to make what we consider to be the ultimate hybrid – a chocolate chip cookie macaroon.
Whichever way you wish to do it, we have found you can never go wrong with adding coconut. It makes a good macaroon great every time. That’s why here at Blue Ribbon Coco, there’s one basic rule that we follow. Every macaroon recipe is a coconut macaroon recipe…sometimes you just have to write in the key ingredient yourself.
